SPUR SHANKS
Shank selections shown below. Please email if you have a particular style that is not shown. We cut our own shanks and can easily create what you are looking for. We can easily accommodate most special requests.
Twists are available on any shank without chap guards.
Length: We can cut any length you choose. Obviously, shank length is also dependent upon your rowel selection (for example, a 32 pt 2" rowel will not fit a 1 1/4" stubby shank). We can help with the appropriate selection to match your rowel and riding style. Feel free to email or call us with any questions.
Shank angles available to your specifications, refer to the following guidelines:
0° standard, 6° Bronc, 12° Bare Back, 20-22° Bull. A shorter leg is often benefited by a slight pitch in the shank.Rowel channel: Shanks are hand cut to accept the rowel specified with your spur order. If you intend to interchange rowels, please advise when ordering.
